3-tips on how to attract diverse talent

It’s difficult to keep up with what we can and can’t do currently…
However, one thing is certain – this year we’ll be reinventing what the office Christmas party looks like. We’re just as gutted as you that we can’t celebrate with our clients and candidates this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get into the virtual Christmas spirit!
Looking for inspiration on how you can have fun and celebrate together, irrespective of what tier you’re in? We’ve got you!
Set up a shared Spotify playlist with the team, grab your favourite festive tipple and just jump on a Zoom. Because honestly – just getting together and sharing all the Christmassy vibes is the best we can do this year and it’s the effort that counts!
Christmas jumpers, hats, antlers, whatever it is – do it! And add in a little competition for a Christmas hamper!
There was a time when it became our Saturday night thing – but now is the time to bring it back!
Centre your quiz around the Christmas period, movies, cocktails or history – just keep it fun and festive.
There are some really great team building activities out there, one of our favourites is the Dirty Martini online cocktail making class. They’ll send you a box with everything you need & all your team has to do is turn up (in Christmas attire, of course!).
Collate peer to peer nominations across both official (team player) and non-official (biggest video call blunder) categories. Ask your team to get dressed up in the same way and spread some joy AND appreciation before the holiday period begins.
Finally – don’t forget that not everyone celebrates Christmas. It’s important to offer those in your team a chance to celebrate the festivities that are important to them if we’re to foster an inclusive working environment.
Enjoy! We hope to see some of your Christmas fun over on LinkedIn! 🙂
