Laura has 15 years experience appointing senior finance and board-level executives. Her sweet spot is identifying leadership talent for both private and public sector clients and has a deep and wide network within the NED and Chairman space. She has a particular passion for challenging search campaigns where there is a requirement to think differently in order to find a solution. Outside work Laura loves international travel, posh nosh and supporting her local community.

Liz Gilliver

Director - Executive & Board Appointments

Liz has 20 years of experience delivering board level roles across the UK and Asia. She prides herself on always exceeding the expectations of her clients and has an extensive network spanning the Chair, CEO, NED and CFO markets across corporate, PE-backed and privately owned businesses alike. With three boys, Liz generally spends her weekends cheering on the sidelines, going on country walks with the dogs with a pub stop or two.

Julie Smyth

Director - Executive & Board Appointments

Julie has a recruitment career spanning 25 years and specialises in delivering top senior finance talent for our corporate market. She has one of the most enviable reputations in the Midlands and possibly the largest collection of LinkedIn recommendations and google reviews! 🙂. Julie’s passions outside work are firmly fixed in the delights Indian cuisine can offer.

Lauren de Quincey

Business Director - Executive Practice

Lauren has an outstanding C-suite network spanning the Midlands and more broadly across the UK. She joined the THG team to strengthen our Exec practice working closely with board level executives, both interim and permanent. Lauren has a strong track record of placing both finance and non-finance executive and non-executive level roles and is well known for her meticulous and tenacious approach to finding client solutions. She is intrinsic to the long-term growth and development of the wider THG business.

Pardeep Rana

Divisional Director

Pardeep has over 10 years of experience in the Senior Finance market and has an extensive network of Finance professionals. He has a strong track record of delivery in the Private sector and prides himself on providing a consultative approach, often providing solutions to niche and tricky hires across the UK and Europe. He has deep knowledge and expertise in a range of sectors including Manufacturing, Financial Services, Retail, Construction and Logistics. Pardeep likes to dabble in the kitchen with some interesting recipes and is a keen sports fan.

    Sophie Evans

    Business Director – Senior Finance

    Sophie Evans leads our senior finance recruitment services, expanding our reach across the UK. With extensive experience recruiting top finance talent for both PLCs and SMEs across the Midlands, Sophie brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success.

    Her expertise in senior finance roles, combined with her strong client relationships, makes her a valuable addition to our team. We’re excited to welcome Sophie and look forward to the positive impact she will have on our clients and candidates.

    Outside of work, Sophie can be found on the football sidelines, cheering on her daughter, who plays for Coventry City. The family are also proud season ticket holders.

      Elaine is our Operations Manager and leads our support function at Trinity House Group. Elaine has over 20 years of experience in the sector and is integral to our success. She ensures that we are able to offer consistently high levels of operational support to our clients, candidates and team.

      Richard Wootton

      Business Director – Interim

      Rich Wootton has nearly 23 years’ experience recruiting into the senior finance interim space and absolutely loves what he does. He has an enviable reputation across the UK market and deep functional knowledge, allowing him to provide expert consultation to both clients and candidates. When he’s not at work, Rich will also be found on football side-lines and ferrying kids from match to match.

      Matt Sweeney

      Business Director – Non-profit & Public Sector – Interim

      Matt Sweeney heads our Non-profit & Public Sector interim division, with a focus that spans the entire UK. With over 10 years of experience in the recruitment industry, Matt brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for driving positive change within the non-profit and public sectors.

      Having successfully led numerous high-impact projects, Matt has built strong, lasting relationships with both clients and candidates. His deep understanding of the recruitment landscape, combined with his strategic vision, will be invaluable as we continue to support our clients in achieving their goals and making a meaningful impact.

      Outside of work, Matt stays busy juggling life with his 18-month-old son, Arnie, and his energetic golden retriever, Teddy.

        We’re delighted to welcome Matt Sanders to the Trinity team as Business Director, bringing with him a wealth of experience, commercial expertise, and a genuine passion for building long-term relationships across the Finance market.

        With more than 10 years’ experience specialising in permanent senior-level finance appointments, Matt has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality talent solutions and partnering closely with both clients and candidates across the sector.

        Originally from Devon, Matt is a passionate Plymouth Argyle supporter and keen runner outside of work, having completed both the London and Paris Marathons. He also enjoys travelling and exploring new places with his wife.

        Matt’s people-first approach, deep market knowledge, and authentic personality make him a fantastic addition to the business. We’re excited about the value and expertise he brings to the clients and candidates we support across the Finance sector.

        Amy Hudson

        Business Manager – Newly Qualified Finance

        Amy Hudson specialises in recruiting Qualified Finance roles across both the SME and corporate markets. She has two years’ experience in recruitment, having previously worked in a Midlands boutique. Amy prides herself on a thorough and consultative approach, and not only is Amy passionate about delivering a “best in class” service, but in her spare time, she runs her own Korean martial art school – teaching Kuk Sool Won. Amy adds a fresh approach and keeps us on our toes.

        Alex Douthwaite

        Senior Consultant – Newly Qualified Finance

        Alex is an ambitious and driven recruiter, specialising in the newly qualified finance and accounting market. With a natural ability to connect with people and a determination to deliver a first-class service, she makes a lasting and tangible impact on both candidates and clients.

        Passionate about building meaningful relationships, Alex takes pride in achieving exceptional outcomes and is recognised for her tenacity, integrity, and alignment with Trinity House Group’s values. Dedicated to raising the standard of recruitment in the region, she brings fresh energy, focus, and commitment to every assignment she undertakes.

        Outside of work, Alex enjoys tackling a good jigsaw puzzle, cooking (her signature dish is chilli), and exploring Birmingham’s pubs – from the very best to the decidedly questionable.

          Sam Maullin

          Senior Consultant – Accounting Operations

          We welcomed Sam Maullin to Trinity House Group in 2025—a perfect fit for our values of integrity, building lasting relationships, and delivering with energy. As she steps into her role leading our interim accounting operations, her trademark blend of no-nonsense energy and genuine warmth instantly elevates our fast-growing finance division.

          Sam brings sharp focus to interim operational finance, particularly part-qualified (PQ) and QBE finance roles across the Midlands—a regional specialism she knows intimately and approaches with precision and care. Her experience working in this space enables her to understand both client needs and candidate aspirations, ensuring placements that deliver immediate impact and sustainable culture fit.

          What sets Sam apart is a remarkable dual commitment: alongside her thriving recruitment career, she is also actively training with the Military Police Reserves—an endeavour that mirrors her disciplined, responsive, and strategically proactive approach to her work. This dynamic underlines her capacity to act swiftly, uphold high standards, and bring a level-headed presence to every engagement.

            Bec Hopson

            Business Manager – Accounting Operations

            Bec joined Trinity House Group in 2026 as a Business Manager, bringing a wealth of experience, no-nonsense energy, and genuine warmth to our fast-growing Transactional Finance division.

            Bec focuses on both interim and permanent appointments across transactional finance and transactional leadership roles, within Accounts Payable, Credit Control, and Accounts Receivable. She is exceptionally well regarded in this space and operates with precision, care, and a real passion for her network.

            Originally from Perth, Australia, outside of work Bec enjoys getting lost in a good book, spending time with her partner and her dog Billie.
